Coming from an athletic background, my first taste of Yoga in 2011 (part of the P90x program) felt so slow and boring. It was once I signed up for a Yoga course in college in 2012 that I started to enjoy the benefits of slowing down from focusing on the breath. I got away from a routine yoga practice when I became competitive in powerlifting, but due to an injury and having surgery, I was reintroduced to it habitually in 2017. In 2019, I ventured the path to become a Registered Yoga Teacher.

Yoga and meditation have a way of healing from feeling in your body and finding the light within. Yoga has never failed at providing peace in my life when things are dark. As a Registered Yoga Teacher through Mindful School of Yoga, I enjoy being able to provide this gift back to others. 

My mission is to help create a stronger you by guiding you on your path home through physical and/or mental movement. That place of warmth, comfort, and love to be your highest self. I teach classes all around the Grand Rapids community and have free virtual classes online, too.
